I can't decide if it's inconceivable stupidity or astounding hypocrisy, but I do know it's incredibly frustrating.

... where TV cameras pan the Oval Office, and the "Resolute" desk is still there - but it's been spray-painted Warm Aztec Gold, and has large-breasted, gold cherubs bolted onto the drawers as pulls.

I'm a little worried about the items in the White House. There are a lot of antiques and beautiful historic items. I know that Trump will want to change everything to his gaudy and tasteless style. That picture of Trump's home is just creepy. Might as well box up the books in the library. No member of the Trump family has touched a book in years.

I notice that the inevitable We Gotta Understand And Be Nice To Trump Voters sentiment is showing up more and more, here at DU. Fuck that. Let them suffer for a while under Trump's policies, along with the rest of us. Let's see some admissions of stupidity and error from the brighter Trump people. That ought to be a prerequisite to any forgiveness, given their driving this country into a ditch.
