December 8...one of the worst "anniversaries" of our lifetime.

2. Indeed! I was living and working out of the country when I heard the news.

I was able to contact a friend by phone with whom I had gone to a Beatles' concert in the mid-sixties. We spoke at length about how our lives had changed because of the influence of the Beatles and Lennon in particular. A sad day!

4. yep - I seldom watch football - just turned the game on to see what the score was

right at the time Cosell made that announcement. I just went numb.

And today while I watched some Lennon vids I cried.
