1. Hang in there, my dear mrmpa!
I've had a few slightly similar conversations with idiots in the hospital, so I know where you are!
Best of luck. ![]() |

2. I hope it goes well
The probiotic must be for your digestion. Antibiotics will mess it up for sure.

3. probiotics may help protect your digestive system from
serious side effects of antibiotics - they can kill much of your gut bacteria and allow dangerous diarrhea type infections. probiotics help replenish your gut with good bacteria.
good luck with your procedure - do you have anybody to advocate for you? see if the hospital has a social worker and try to have that person keep an eye on things... |

6. I empathize and am so sorry you're going through this.
But take the probiotic. You don't want to end up with C. diff; a probiotic can help.

7. I've been there. Lost my toe about 7 years ago.
Tropical ulcer. I wasn't and am still not diabetic.
I lost my big toe. That had an effect on how I walk. Pressure points and all that. I now wear orthopaedic shoes. Will this be a necessity for you? I have to have daily treatment on my feet. Fortunately, my wife is a saint and the daily treatment is minor. But it has to be done. Every day. Courage, my friend. And look after yourself!!! |

12. first chance........
got out of the hospital on the 14th. Surgery was on the 13th. It is very hard walking with only 4 toes on the left foot. I am having a lot of pain in the area of the sole right below the amputated middle toe.
In the middle of this I moved, got Mom moved and I'm hoping 2017 is much better. |

Hope all the bad stuff is behind you and the new year brings positive happenings.
