Well, HealthCare.gov is f***ed up.

I tried to reset my password and got asked three "security questions", two of which are unanswerable.

What is the name of your youngest niece ? (I don't have any nieces or nephews)

What is you grandmother's nickname ? (I don't know that either one of them ever had a nickname)

Shouldn't security questions be based on questions to which users had previously provided the correct answers ? I've never seen these questions before, and couldn't have answered them meaningfully.

The only option offered to deal with the problem is to phone them. Wonder how long I'll be waiting to get a real human on the phone.

The most ridiculous questions I've ever seen.

"What was the name of your favorite toy" was another if I remember correctly.

What moron comes up with these?

It's for real.

Stupidest questions I ever have seen.

Luckily, one of my grandmothers had a nickname.

My mother's maiden name is too easy to look up since I have genealogical info online. So I use a nickname that was not my mother's. My first pet - that is mentioned in the caption of one of the photos I have online. So the answer to that one is something completely made up. I used a cat's name for a niece or nephew question.

I've got about four answers that I use for various security questions and change about a little for different sites. None of them are real things that could be found by researching my life. None are close to the real answers for the questions.
