Thank you, JudyM I recently read The Prophet and loved it more than I expected. Friends recommended it for years, and now I know why.

4. That book was also a gift from my dad to my mom when he was in WWII and they were just dating.

He found it in a bookstore in Europe on a rare day off. She broke up with him shortly after he returned. They started dating again a few years later after literally bumping into each other rounding the corner of a building, and got married within a year.

Their wedding was 66 years ago this Saturday and they are still in love, with days of laughter (even though though they have to repeat themselves for hearing problems) all these years later.

6. If only more people were this lucky, right? I see that book on their bookshelf and have to smile.

If more people were genuinely happy there'd be a helluva loss fewer social problems.
