ya know, i sure do miss the old days of du meetups.

gosh those were fun.
so many trolls about these days, i guess it is asking for trouble. tho in the beginning, we didnt post the info, you had to contact someone.

i think there was a marriage or 2 that came out of it, too.

anybody interested? i remember trying to get a couple chicago ones off the ground in a row that didnt come together. but it has been a long time, and i suspect a lot of us could use a little face time w our tribe.

tho really, i still think the hot ticket is a du cruise.

Not sure if it is doable with the huge crowd there, but it would be a lot of fun.

a few of us managed to find each other at obama's first inauguration.
it was great fun. i think you just need someone on the ground to be a contact, and to find a room.

iirc, lynne sin was in charge that time.

Which are a lot harder to troll, since a troll would be surrounded by hundreds, if not thousands, of people who could give them a very bad time of it.

Re-reading that made me smile all over again.

And I hope it won't be too long before we get together again!

And I hope we will meet again soon as well! Obviously with my better half, we'll need to see how her recovery progresses. Still, we met with her surgeon today for the big "month later" meeting, and he thought she looked great, said there was no barrier at all to her taking up intercontinental travel again right away.

Sooooooooooo.........how does a little village near the tip of Cape Cod sound to you in July?
