Today at work, we conduct an experiment to advance human knowledge

The question: will Chia Pet seeds sprout in a standard PC keyboard?

A question of this monumental importance cannot be left to mere theoreticians. No: this demands empirical investigation. Fortunately, a coworker is starting a three week vacation today, and his keyboard will provide the answer by the time he's back.
