The snow started falling at 2:45 last night. ( I know cause the dog woke me to let her outside starting around 1AM ). Non of my neighbors have ventured out yet. Oh, and ... the snow is still coming down heavily!!!
It's a very good thing that our small Koi Pond has two heaters because the surface is frozen except for 10 inches around the heaters.
Glad this isn't my pond.

(28,394 posts)5. No snow, just freezing rain and ice.
It changed over to all rain this morning. It's really sloppy out there. We had about 4 inches earlier in the week.

(16,386 posts)7. I originally thought about six and it was light stuff.
But having just gotten in from shoveling and hurting my back, it's more like eight or nine and it's not so light. I didn't finish, but thought to myself, "Self, you have a 23-year-old son, so why are you even doing this?" Called my #1 son who lives less than a mile away. Hopefully he'll be here before Easter. My #2 son will be getting in tonight and will be staying with me for winter break and will shovel on request.
