You know you're having a bad day when ...

You put the dog out the back door (sometime within the last 2 hours) and for got about her

You find your front tire 1/2 flat (and the tire pump is on loan 1/2 across the US)
Half the house went dark because something ( ) tripped the circuit breaker

How is your day going?

Be sure to bring her in and cuddle her to warm her up!

Sorry your day sucks--major bummer. Just stay in and keep toasty!

Abt. 3 degrees here in Kansas City area, with a layer of ice on everything and an inch or so of snow on top of it. Highways are skating rinks, but 80,000 people went to see the Chiefs game. (Morons, I call 'em. I'll just watch some on the teevee, thankyouverymuch!)

Stay warm, myfriend! Hope you get your power back on!

anything looks amiss. Nothing is frayed (but my nerves). Thankfully we're having a thaw so Miss PIA didn't catch a chill ... but she had tangled her leash around her rear leg several times. She must have been out more than 15 minutes.

Your dog thinks you rescued her from the cold and would never think of the fact that you let her out and forgot about her.

so now she loves you even more! Wallah!

17. She loves me at 1AM, 2:30AM, 3:30AM ... and that is why I nap in the afternoon.

I found a few wads of fiberglass insulation around the bottom of the fuse panel where none had been before. Maybe a varmint is trapped in the walls.

Sounds a little fishy.

She didn't mind the fresh air but did I leave her out while I was gone to the store or did I put her out after I got back. [img][/img]

One reason I don't have one. I'm mostly home alone, and in very open territory.

11. When anything I reach for (spoon, trousers belt, whatever) falls to the floor

I'm not *that* old, I see magazine pics of people my age climbing Everest, swimming with sharks, starting financial empires.

Yet if I thread the belt onto trousers, put the trousers on, and stand UP, I nearly fall on my face from stepping on the end of the belt. This happens with any-fking- thing I reach for or whatever. I used to toss anything into a wastebasket like a basketball dunk, and now it invariably falls to the floor. What the hay?!1

Also, in the parking lots, when I trot (I exaggerate) to the car, I look all around and there is LITERALLY NOBODY for blocks around, yet I look over my shoulder when I start to back up and INVARIABLY there is a flock of geese or flock of extended family directly behind my vehicle acting shocked that they are imminently being plowed over.

****Wait a minnit, what's the question???!1

... on the way home Mr. ITW's truck clunked a few times as he applied the brakes.
The estimate to repair his truck was so high that we are having it towed 45 miles to our old mechanic because the local shop was talking over a thousand for the brake repair.

I can still make that left-handed toss into the trash 90% of the time.

Oh, and I don't step on my belt cause I rarely wear pants or a belt.

The question was and how is your day going ...
