Daily Holidays - December 24

National Egg Nog Day Celebrating Eggnog Day is quite easy and enjoyable. In order to celebrate it, all we have to do is buy or make our own eggnog, sit by a fireplace or at the kitchen table, and enjoy the eggnog with our family and friends. After the children have gone to bed, we can also make an alcoholic version of the beverage to share around with the adult family and friends. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/egg-nog-day/

Something I haven't done in years.

I've always contended that if eggnog were on the shelves year-round, I'd weigh 1200 lbs. Not acceptable.

Most people like rum in their eggnog. I'm OK w/ rum, but I like cognac.

What do you all like?

just as egg nog. I agree if it were on the shelves year round I would be in trouble.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
