Casey, no fucking way, he's an antiabortion, anti contraception nut and I don't want him anywhere near the presidency. Cooper will be needed in NC. Gary Peters would depend on whether or not a Republican governor would pick his replacement in the Senate. Brown might be a good choice, there again depending on whether Ohio had a GOP governor.

Think about the Castro brothers.

Think about Raul Grijalva of AZ.

Don't worry so much about whether or not they come from a "swing" state. In any case, running nothing but people from the northeast part of the country is self defeating.

I would prefer Julian run for Governer in 2018. Keep Joaquin in the House.

Peters' MI US Senate Seat is up in 2020, If MI has a Republican Governor, Peters can decide not to seek re-election to the US Senate to campaign full time for President or Vice President. MI Democrats can nominate Dan Kildee or Debbie Dingell.
Brown-OH and Baldwin-WI are up for re-election in 2018, Republicans have a greater that 50-50 chance of holding on the OH and WI Governorship in 2018.
The other person on the list should be Amy Klobuchar (MN)

2017 is a year where most local political races are determined.
Don't just show up in November to vote - join your local Democratic club/committee and work with them to put viable candidates into those offices.

Then it's 2018, the midterm elections, a year when all Congressional and a third of the Senate races as well as many state gubernational races are determined.
Again, work with your local group to help get good candidates into those positions

2017 and 2018 are the first critical years, when we can potentially cut the legs out from under Trump's administration by reducing/eliminating the GOP majority in congress and the state legislatures.

Those are our marching orders. Get cracking.

And I'll see you at the barricades come the next big march.

Oh, and one more thing: Welcome to DU.
