Just back from seeing 20th Century Women. OMG, what a funny movie

and a brilliant performance from Annette Bening. Set in Santa Barbara in 1979. Went with a girlfriend and we laughed out loud
and chuckled all through the movie. If you are of "a certain age" you definitely need to see it.

It does have an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay, but in my book, Annette Bening was seriously robbed
of a nomination, although she did get a nomination for her performance from the Golden Globes.

Both my friend and I came away from the movie feeling entertained by a quirky story.
