Almost wish I enjoyed drinking (other than water and coffee!) more than I do. VERY low tolerance.

My Dad played John Adams in 1776 in a military production back in 1974. That was only a couple of years after the movie came out. I listened to the original cast recording hundreds of times. So 1776 has been a part of my life nearly all my life...

16. I auditioned for the role of John Adams myself in a local production about ten years ago.

I didn't get it. I was cast as James Wilson. I turned it down.

I found out later that the role of Adams had been pre-cast with a friend of the director.

I'm too old for Adams now. But maybe someday, I'll get to play Franklin. That would be a fun role to play.

Fortunately, I get plenty of exercise. That should help me avoid it.
