My wife and I went to see Beauty and the Beast last night!

Wow, terrific movie, terrific cast, terrific music and beautiful cinematography, costumes, sets and effects.

Neither Emma Watson, Kevin Kline nor Emma Thompson should embark on singing careers, but they did a good job in what they had to do.

I think that Emma Watson was PERFECT for Belle and may well be one of the loveliest ladies on the planet.

We'd wanted to see it since we first saw the poster back in December and had fully intended to see it on opening night. However, the fact that Franklin Graham encouraged a boycott because there were "hummasexals" in the movie added to our enjoyment since we had the opportunity to show our "deep level of respect" for THAT asshat.

Give yourself a treat and GO!

That's my 2 cents, and quite possibly overpriced at that!

PEACE!

Can't wait!

I took kids aged 12, 10, and 8. Without giving spoilers... I'll just say that I thought it was too intense for kids under 6 or so.

There is nothing offensive at all. i did see all kinds of normal guys behaving in different normal ways. The kids I took are all huge Harry Potter fans and were very excited to see Emma Watson. I'm sure they will see it again.

I actually had to tell myself, "Don't worry about those wolves, the beast will come and save her..."

I saw families with little ones leaving pretty early on.

Disney never knows who their audience is: It's too scary for k-3 but too mushy and silly for teens.

Besides being so intense, it went on too long for this animal lover. (Silly me, since I knew it was CGI, lol). But I still loved the movie.

Luke Evans and especially Josh Gad stole the movie.

Plus I'm calling it now..the song sung by Celine Dion during the end credits is going to win Best Original Song at next years Oscars.
