2. I trained my own service dog

and in order to be quiet when in public I had also trained him to do commands by body language and leash commands. I got the idea of leash commands from being a dressage rider. I would give him commands by how I would tighten and release his leash and which side of his neck the slight pressure was put on. With him next to me he was not able to look at me all of the time so I used that. He was such a smart dog. He was the poster child of what a German Shepherd is supposed to be like. Dogs are a lot smarter than people give them credit for.
