What colour are your walls? What colour would you like them to be? My walls are cream with white

trim which I love. Some day though I will live in a place with turquoise walls and green & white leafy chintz on the furniture/curtains. I even saw some green and white leafy chintz pillows for sale at the bookstore. It took all my powers of resistance not to buy them.

Not too bright, not too minty, just right. I actually blended the color myself, I had something mixed then decided it was just too "lime" so I toned it down with some beige and white. Came out really nice. Just what I wanted.

The vast majority of our walls are a semi-gloss white, which we chose for its clean look, and for the way it sets off any photos or paintings we've hung.

I wanted pale blue in my study, and it's beautiful, subtle, very restful.

Living room: Brown (like chocolate milk) with a black accent wall *see pic below. white trim.

Kitchen: pastel green with dark (olive) accent wall. white trim

Foyer: a wheat color

Office/pool table room: darker wheat color

Upstairs bathroom: lime (not shocking) green

Downstairs bathroom: lilac

Basement: dark brown/brick red and another black accent wall (big tv).

I used to be very neutral but decided to get creative and I love the way all the rooms turned out.

I'm in an apartment but used to have my own home. I didn't have a single white wall in that house!

I look forward to being able to paint my walls again. My favorite colors were shades of yellow. I had one room in a pale sage green; it was very restful but almost too sedating. I might go for a celery green or apple green instead.

I like that combination. The kitchen is a light caramel color and the family room is peach.

I have to strip wallpaper so I can paint some of the other rooms. (awful job)

Your turquoise and green color scheme sounds very pretty and kind of tropical!

he repaints my condo. I finally got the kitchen the right color, Ice and with the new ceramic floor is perfect. My hall entrance, dining room and living room are all a pale yellow with brighter yellow accent walls in the dining room and kitchen. My room has gone from a sage green to a very dim tan. Mom's room is a pink (yech) but she doesn't want it repainted. All ceilings and baseboards are white.

All are a matte finish. It is amazing to watch my brother work, it took him just one hour to do the kitchen and about the same for the dining room. I buy my paint at Home Depot or Lowes, and always use the contractors base for my paint. The cost is about $10 less than buying a name brand.

I love my brother.

Most rooms are pale colors other than my room and my granddaughter's room. Her's is a bright fuchsia with a pale Cinderella's ballgown blue ceiling. Mine is Gothic Amethyst with white trim and white ceiling. I have white furniture in my room so the furniture stands out against the darker walls. It's past time to paint the main bathroom, I even have the paint chips laid out. Decisions, decisions......

My husband is a professional painter (I used to be). We love our colors and our white trim.
The entry way and livingroom are the color of buttah. We paint the cielings the same color as the walls perhaps a shade lighter if we like. It seems to flow better than having the cielings white. My kitchen dining area and hallway are a dusty blue yes, cielings too. Guest bedroom Burning Bush red (guest love it). Our bedroom is light copper, the bathroom is pale peach with ceramic tile and the third bedroom, my husband's "boy room" is done in early disaster.

Upstairs is lavender. So is the carpet. Bathrooms were both sponge painted green, seafoam, and white. Obnoxious job, too. Yuck. I can live with the lavender walls and ceilings but the masterbath must be redone. I'm afraid to paint after what happened to me last fall, trimming up the rose arbor.
