Dubbing it #RallyCat, the official Twitter account for the Marlins announced it shut down its home run sculpture for the rest of the game to protect the cat. The account later revealed the feline had been briefly rescued only to run away again "into the night."
Hopefully he's home or at least somewhere safe and sound where he can calm down. <3

(39,382 posts)I was watching the game, as I watch them all if possible. The cat was ok but they suspended the homerun statue had a Marlin hit another homer so that it wouldn't freak out the cat

(24,259 posts)it would have definitely freaked the young cat out even more than he was.
Those names would be very appropriate but I suspect he may steer clear of the stadium for a bit although it could be his home and food source if he's a true stray.

Scared, exhausted, overheated. Needed a drink and somewhere that felt safe.
Too bad he/she did not get up near the fans, he would have been hot dogged into oblivion and curled up for a nap. I suspect the cat has found a hidey hole somewhere in the ballpark area.
Beautiful cat!!!
