And thanks for the Khachaturian! Saw one of his ballets when I visited in Moscow (YEARS ago, when I was in college.)

Finlandia is no 1812 Overture. It has its moments, but it mostly sounds to me like an amalgam of the Star Wars theme, blended with a heavy dose of Beethoven with a little "Dragnet" theme blended in. Great scenery, though. I've been there, and it really is like that for practically the southern two thirds of the country.
