The Huffington Post is now HuffPost with a new layout.
It now looks like a cheap gossip site. It's horrible.
Did anyone tell them "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

(901 posts)Not liking it one bit. What's with the ginormous top article anyway? It's way too big. Meanwhile, there's a whole lot of wasted space.

(22,037 posts)Now it's worse.
Too many of their stories are links to other websites and don't represent their own reporting. Additionally, there are so many links to click-bait sites.
Lastly, their hosting software is terrible. The pages are constantly shifting to display various ads or graphics and it's always clunky.
Originally, the site had potential. Now, it's just crap.

(36,853 posts)I have to admit, though, that I have only been there a few times in several years due to various reasons.

(2,795 posts)I often times avoid Huffington Post because of the ads and how the frames load. Page jumping around. This new format loads nicely on my computer

(53,778 posts)to the news. Bet they change that soon.
Now the stories are laid out in a disjointed fashion in several different formats. You don't know if that's to signify that some are hard news and some are feature stories. It's just an unorganized jumble.
They also got rid of their comments sections for stories a few weeks ago without even announcing it, at least I did see any notification. That was about the only reason to stay on that site for any length of time.
