... that's why they had to shut it down. (The comments section, not the magazine.)

The same thing happened at other publications last year. Any publication that allowed free "membership" where you can give a fictitious name, those were all taken over by bots. I saw it happen on Rolling Stone Magazine, Salon, and at least 2 or 3 other regular blogs. Man it got really nasty!

I wasn't a regular on DU last year, but I understand they tried to take over here too.

Let's hope the US can find a way to keep the Russians out of our internet, before the next election.

It's hosting software must suck. The screen I mps around, especially on point table d vices. More importantly, the stories often link to other news outlets.

I'm done, too.

and crap still jumps all over the page as they load the paid advertising. You can't scroll as they try to keep the ads in front of your eyeballs. And WAAY too many stories are either devoid of details or links to paid news sites. Lastly, the headlines are almost always over the top hyperbole.

whatever company it was... that's when I decided I wouldn't even click on a link to that site but I had stopped going there long before that.

this new look is awful. I also miss the comments section. That was often the best part.

One of those stupid mistakes that businesses often make...Like,,,"New Coca Cola"..which was a disaster..so was that car that Ford sold..with the letter E..?..., ..."Edsel".....so many others so the "new Huff Post" is a major mistake, one which will match these others...
