Ring-Ring "Mrs. Smither, do you know where your cat is?"
"Well, I just let him out for his evening stroll around the neighborhood"
"If you could, would you come over and pick him up. Seems he got stuck between the screen door and our front door"
"WHAT!"
"Yes, and to tell you the truth we don't know how it happened or how to get him out. But the screaming is really annoying"

(86,524 posts)one of my kitties - she was an only child at the time - got shut in between the two doors. I realized after about twnety minutes that she hadn't come back in through her door as she usually does. I called for her and she didn't come, which was strange. Normally all I had to do was whistle and she would be right by my side within a minute or two from wherever she was. But this time, she didn't show up. I went to the front door of the cabin to call her again or go look for her only find she was sandwiched in between the doors... still on the floor though, not freaked out or anything. I lost her in the closet once the same way, she never cried out or anything, just waited for me to go find her. At least this cat was able to alert the humans.
