Home from California.

I don't think I ever want to do the Magic Kingdom and Disney's California Adventure ever again...

Certainly not with four rambunctious grandkids and two laissez-faire parents...

Anyway, back home where I belong, in my library, not listening to my grandkids fighting and squabbling...

Tonight, I sleep in my own bed, the sleep of the angels...

3. Agree. Pay big bucks to battle crowds and stand in line for 45 second rides.

Then pay through the nose for food and beverages. Been to Disney World Fl & Ca and Universal Studios. One time each was enough.

We were getting the kids ice cream at California Adventure, and plain old soft-serve would have been fine, and one of the g'kids even asked for plain soft-serve. But their mother, my step-daughter, insisted that we get the expensive stuff from Ghirardelli's. She ordered them two scoops each. For four kids, I had to take out a second mortgage to pay for all that ice cream. They ate half of it each, then threw the rest away.

I had some nostalgic fun on Pirates Of The Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion. But that was the extent of my enjoyment.

Ugh...

Two of my favorites. Also Country Bear Jamboree, if they still have it?

I lived in southern CA for about 20 years.
All visitors from around the country wanted to go to Disneyland.
I got so sick of it.
