2. Once, when traveling through rural Thailand, I saw a troop of monkeys

hanging out in a clearing by the side of the road, right next to a "Do not feed the monkeys" sign. I wished I had some way of telling them that if they wanted a snack, they might have better luck if they moved down the road a bit.
