I just saw the space station fly over!

I signed up for SpotTheStation text messages months ago, I got the first text notification today about it passing over my state visible for 6 minutes at 57 degrees, WSW to NE. Stood in my backyard and all of a sudden over the trees it came. It certainly is bright and moves fast. It was a beautiful clear night. I have watched a lot of NASA TV from on board the ISS, so it was pretty awesome to see it flying!

Has anyone else watched it fly over?

Peace

low. I was afraid it would spook my horse. I used to ride pretty close to the airport. That being said I miss the stars and satellites. My parents sold the cottage years ago and that was my only access to the night sky. Must be great to be in a rural area. And to be able to follow the stars.

My bedroom in her house has a huge picture window ( upstairs.) I can lay in bed and watch clouds race past, storms, it's awesome. So that year the station went by every night at a certain time. I got so I looked forward to seeing it. I was disappointed when it wasn't there this past year.
