I want a J-O-B that makes a positive difference in People's LIVES! I am crazy enough to not care about "income", but I have to HELP my neighbors.
I just quit a job that paid more than I have made in years, but the boss was a trump a**,& every day hurt my SPIRIT.
I don't need much $, I DO need to feel I make People's Lives better. I have been working in a museum, for a historical foundation.. now I'm looking into retail..I need next to NO drama, enuff $ to meet basic needs,& allow me to do volunteer work in my community (political & otherwise!). I am a year away from a psych degree, if other stuff settles out, I can get that done.
Life is SO goood, ain't it! YEAH, BUDDY!

And the reason I know it is because of something I heard in an ad once. I don't even remember what they were selling. But it was a pep talk to the consumer. Part of the ad copy went: "To everyone who ever stayed with a job because they needed the money, or quit one because no amount would be enough."

I've always loved that.
