Fonts not working

I've noticed in the last few days that italics, bolding, underlining don't seem to work.

Text just comes out normally.

Do we know why?

use the bold/italic/underline functions for emphasis;.. to make my posts more like the spoken work... I feel, um, muted.

Don't ask me what that means other than bold and underlining not working. I just read it a while ago.
