I'm on par for an 80 hour week of sitting in my car (stay in school, kids. don't watch private eye tv shows and think you'll do that for a living). I woke up feeling hung over even though I don't drink.

Now I'm hoping my subject leaves soon so I can chase him through Atlanta morning traffic.

The only PI show that was close to reality was maybe Rockford Files, since he lived in a camper.

3. Coffee and fast food breakfasts are the worst

Rockford was cool but usually ended up punching or getting punched by someone every week. I try to be a tad more discreet.

People hear you're a PI and they go to Cheaters, the horrible show with a conflict in every episode or they think about watching people on Workers Comp. I do not do the Comp work nor do I ever tell the clients where their spouses are screwing around on them so they can confront
