I guess I should just crawl up in a ball & die...........

Mulvaney from the Office of Management & Budget has decided that diabetics don't deserve health care. Well let me tell you, I have been a diabetic since 1998. I have done everything, including losing close to 100 lbs. to try & thwart this disease. Nothing has worked to get me off meds, metformin, insulin and lantus. Numbers are good, however I have lost a toe. So I guess it's time to stop and just give up. NOT. I will fight this with my last dying breath

And so glad you're not giving up. We need your voice. Hopefully in a year or two we'll be beyond all this nonsense.

I've lost weight and walk (and pick up litter along the roads) for 3 to 4 hours a day. I take metformin but I plan to just not continue my medical program. I will control my own self. I weigh 100 lbs, and my blood pressure is always in the 112/64 range and my blood sugar I always in the 80's range. I'm going to wean myself off the meds.

Or a child with one? Or an elderly relative?

Oh, that's right. They exempted themselves from the AHCA. They don't have to worry about such menial details as the rest of us peons.

It seems like the Republicans are all about that. But it's not because they're heartless, soulless bastards who care more about money than anyone else's life; truly, they're only interested in keeping you from a lifetime of dependency. It breaks their cold, mean, little hearts to see you using insulin and those other drugs as a crutch. If you were just right with God and Jesus, why, you'd be cured of your afflictions. If you're worthy. And they hope you won't be so churlish as to blame them for what they're doing to you. But if you do, it just means that you're a hater, and the Republicans were right all along.

If you poke around the comments sections of various stories and in other places around the internet, you will see all this bullshit and more on proud display by these uncaring motherfuckers.

How long before the pitchforks and torches come out.

Seriously.... The pressure is ratcheting up, and sooner or later something is going to give.

The incident at the baseball practice last week. (That wasn't a shooting, it was a Second Amendment Solution (tm))

That was just the first crack appearing.

I worry that things will get very bad when the masses come to the realization that they've been sold down the river.

It could get very ugly.
