I'm going to be a granmother!!!!!

My son and his wife told me over dinner last night. Baby is due in February.

I am "grandma" to my partner's grandkids. His granddaughter calls me "memere" so I have some idea.

It's just that this is my only kid and he's going to be a dad. And he's going to be GREAT at it. I'm so happy!

I graduated to Grandfather-hood last April. So my granddaughter is 15 months. It is wonderful! I usually get to see her 2 days a week. One of them as her babysitter. She is a darling!
