(12,132 posts)I hear they are doing a sequel too.
I mostly listen to metal but I'm a sucker for a well-choreographed dance number.
NYResister

Needless to say we listened to more Clash and XTC than ABBA.

exboyfil
(18,333 posts)classic Rock snob. I would not admit that the first pop star I ever listened to was Christopher Cross.
Now that I am in my 50s, don't have that peer group anymore, and have access to Amazon Prime and Spotify; I find I am listening to bands that I would never have been caught dead listening to in my teens and 20s.
I will give ABBA a try.

(32,353 posts)When I think of ABBA, I think of Dancing Queen, which Art Bell used every night on the old
Coast to Coast AM radio show back in the 1990s.
I love that song; and I, too, had a huge crush on Agnetha
NYResister
(164 posts)But thank goodness for music anyway. Life would really suck without it.

(322 posts)Blues, jazz, swing and hillbilly music from '20s & 30s; mix 'em all together and you've got my favorite band, Milton Brown and his Musical Brownies.

ps...I am a Dodgers fan and sometimes in the ballpark they would play "Fernando" when Fernando Valenzuela took the mound.
