Tangled up in Blue...Love this version, with the original lyrics....speaks to my soul, and even to today with "Revolution in the air"

1. That's a fierce rendition
He's got so many different versions of this song. I like the one that has "Too busy or too stoned" in it.

4. Here you go...
Last verse...about 4:30 or so in... That was the rough cut which dylan originally planned for the album....I've always liked this version because it feels so intimate, like Dylan is playing just for you. During the session, Bob is wearing a jean jacket while playing and you can hear the metal Levi Strauss buttons slapping against the back of his guitar. "Blood on the Tracks" was almost a completely different album...while he went a different direction, arguably for the better, thankfully he didn't wipe these early takes! |

2. I've got a story like that, tangled up in blue.
The beginning of the end those days was my girlfriend beating the crap out of her girlfriend's pimp. He was handcuffed to a urinal with me standing outside explaining to drunk guys who had to pee really really bad, "rough sex" and they respected that enough that they held it in or went out the back door to pee.
Fucking clueless hunter sometimes has a way with words, and that's not the first or the last time hunter has whored himself. I later jumped out of her moving car, leaving some of my skin and blood on the streets of Berkeley. I took the bus home. Nobody would sit next to me. Got the scars, haven't written the song. |

6. Damn hunter...
Pretty sure that warrants its own OP or, better yet a short story or novel! I'd read the shit out of that story....not to make light of your own history, I know it had to have been crazy in the moments you described...I'm just saying that's crazy intriguing! Thanks for sharing!

7. I have a DJ friend who thought it was "Tiger Lovin' Blues"
Even as a pro she always called it that. Now so do I.
