http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/06/king-back-chess-legend-garry-kasparov-comes-retirement/He is going to play in a fide rated tournament this year at the Saint Louis Rapid and Blitz tournament for the first time since 2005.
"Ready to see if I remember how to move the pieces! Will I be able to announce my re-retirement afterward if not?!", he tweeted.
How exciting (at least for the geeks amongst us who play chess) !

Vs Anand in the world championships.
Game was a draw (most are) but came down to final 3 pieces.

As one of the chess geeks among us, I will welcome his return to the game! I still remember the thrill of replaying his brilliant win against Karpov in Game 16 of their 1985 match!
