1. its bright red here in the PNW with the smoke from the forest fires

2. It did seem unusually bright last night.

I walked into the dark kitchen and the bright moonlight coming through the windows made it seem that the lights were on. I actually went outside, au naturel but sans dancing, and sat on the porch for a bit just enjoying looking at the moon.

3. It was beautiful!

I watched it rise over a local cemetery.

The effect was one of sublime serenity.
