My long haired calico does this quite often. She gets her butt squared up with something then shifts her back legs back and forth, fast. Still don't understand why they do that. I get it when she's stalking a lizard, she'll shake her butt before pouncing, but when she's not hunting and just standing next to something, don't know why she does the dance. Does anyone else have a cat that does that and do you know why?
