another question about a possible fad

I asked several months ago about a possible fad. Got great feedback, so thank you.

Next possible fad: Using the "middle-finger-salute" aka "shooting a bird" freely. For no apparent reason other than to....express something ? Using it to express anger and contempt, I get it. Using it for any other reason ? I dunno.

Jesus these questions make me feel ancient LOL
