look into the 'verified purchase' of those who claim its trash and/or call HRC names ( 'This book is trash just like its author')...how does Amazon allow this? also I'm going thru the reviews and stating that the review was NOT helpful. Amazon can and will withdraw review privileges from those they think are scammers.

I don't get it. Her major offense is that she is a woman who lives her own life, not at the bidding of some man.
One of the many reasons i won't buy a fucking thing from Amazon.

(17,605 posts)...I worked for a company that gave free products in exchange for a review. my reviews were honest yet amazon had a policy against reviews for exchanges.. now my review privileges are stripped away. I also posted a harmless review for The Ted Cruz coloring book.. I said it made a great gag gift ( which is why I bought it) and they refused to post it because it was abusive they said. So I know they have policies. just have to make them enforce them.

(17,605 posts)...It Takes a Village...written HOW many years ago? and yet a one star review came out TODAY on it. I said it wasn't helpful and I also reported it as a troll review. I'm gonna be on the puter all damned day.

(46,023 posts)I clicked on "see all 209 negative reviews," but only one screen of bad reviews popped up. It still shows the book at 54% 1 star reviews, but you can't see them. (Or at least, I couldn't find them easily.)

And then I thought, would my boss do that to a competitor?
And the answer was Yes.

(9,218 posts)Reporting abuse on each of them. One person is spamming the entire comments section.
I only got through about 4 pages and there are 41 pages of comments.
If the purchase is a VERIFIED PURCHASE and the person dislikes the book - fair enough! I got no problem with that.
But if it doesn't say "Verified Purchase" + is a bunch of nastiness: NOPE. I'm reporting abuse.

2. People are fickle as hell. For example: my favorite mom 'n' pop Asian restaurant with delicious food had a low score on Yelp yet a snooty ass bistro with lousy service and microscopic portion sizes at eye popping prices got rave reviews.
