So many great musicians on a cross Canada tour in 1970.
Janis, The Burrito Brothers, The Band, Buddy Guy, The Dead, and many more.
A documentary about a train trip. Well worth watching.

(27,742 posts)I had no idea those events had happened. The footage in the train is priceless.
Sadly Woodstock gave the impression that these concerts could be "liberated" so they were crashed by non payers.

(3,569 posts)Robbie. Janis, Jerry, Weir and Danko. I laugh every time I see it. We seldom get to see people in that kind of fame be real, and nothing gets realer than that. I think that is the thing I love about the Dead, they were never afraid to be seen in real situations and tended to prank those that wanted them to be normal or shown in a unreal light.

(322 posts)12 guys up there totally committed to looking, acting and sounding like a 1950s street gang/ singing group. It's brilliant performance art!
