Safeway Supermarket Employee Beaten With Baguette by Irate Customer

According to SF Gate, 39-year-old Adam Kowarsh entered a Safeway Supermarket in Fremont “screaming and yelling” around midnight on Sept. 17. Kowarsh was asked to pay for his items and leave, but after one employee made an attempt to calm him, he grabbed a loaf of French bread and struck the worker multiple times in the face.

“A male suspect was pushing and hitting an employee of a grocery store multiple times with a load of French bread,” police said in a statement. “While the victim did not sustain major injuries, he wanted to press charges.”

Because of this commissar pissy face may declare war against France now. Does anyone still have maps of Normandy? Field Marshal Jared is going to need them for the campaign.

You could also say he's toast...

He might knead to come up with a lot of dough to cover his legal costs...

But is there any proof?

Ciabatta (Italian pronunciation: [tʃaˈbatta], literally slipper[1]) is an Italian white bread made from wheat flour, water, salt, and yeast, created in 1982 by a baker in Verona, Veneto, Italy, in response to the popularity of French baguettes. Ciabatta is somewhat elongated, broad, and flat, and is baked in many variations.
