Boundless happiness

I was in Somerset County Court House Monday afternoon, around lunchtime. On the fourth floor, there was a little boy around 8 years old, running around. He bounded up to me and announced with a big grin, "I'm getting adopted today!" He was full of joy and excitement. I looked over and saw an elderly couple whom I suppose were his grandparents with a younger boy. They smiled gently at me. I made it a point to shake everyone's hands to wish them congratulations.

Sure hope everything works out well for all.

Isn't it really cool when you get to peripherally participate in such a happy event?
I have had such opportunities and I was so grateful that I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
