A slight bit of nice news: Rookie Aaron Judge hit 50th HR yesterday

http://m.yankees.mlb.com/news/article/256028138/yankees-aaron-judge-sets-mlb-rookie-hr-record/

The previous rookie record was held by Mark McGuire, who hit 49. Judge entered the game with 48 on the season, and hit two.

Yankees players to hit 50 HR in one season while with the Yankees (counts from baseball-reference.com):

Aaron Judge: 2017 (season still ongoing)

Very impressive start to what looks like a future stellar career.

He's built like a Tight End. In fact, he's slightly bigger than Rob Gronkowski, and Judge played TE in college. But, he chose to purse professional baseball instead. This may be a developing pattern for talented young athletes who in previous generations eschewed baseball for the NFL.

Why run the risk of CTE when you can have a more lucrative career in MLB?
