(16,879 posts)I work 3rd shift so when I get home it's my 'dinner' time. When I get up at 8 pm it's my 'breakfast'.
When I tell people I'm having spaghetti when I get home they generally say, "For breakfast?"
A-yup.
Pancakes and bacon for supper, spaghetti for breakfast many times. French toast late at night at least once a month.

(23,272 posts)Doesn't happen too often but she loves it when it does....
I also make a lot of quiche and will serve that as dinner. Not sure if that's strictly a breakfast food but I love it for dinner with a salad and fruit.

(6,996 posts)As kids we loved pancakes for supper. Of course we didn't realize that it happened close to the end of the week before pay day. When the paycheck was cashed meat was back on the table.

(5,604 posts)Double order of bacon and eggs and a few beers before the kitchen closed at my local diner. But then again when I used to work all night I never thought twice about having a few beers at 9:00 am before getting some sleep.

(23,973 posts)When it was my kids turn to pick what they wanted for dinner, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fried cornmeal mush, and English muffins were their favorite choices.

(2,682 posts)I bought pancake mix so we would have something for dinner right before a paycheck was due. My daughter was little and didn't understand what that indicated, but I knew and I felt awful that it was a necessity, not a treat. I didn't have money for eggs all the time, so I used the kind that only needed water. This was about the time that my ex-husband's new wife decided that he was paying too much for child support ($150/mo) and they went to court to have it reduced. I then got $75 a month, when they paid it.
