B) The skill level suggests that if the technology exists, don't leave a window open in your house.

This is really F'd up thinking. Having lived in a big city, I would take the public transportation trains. I saw people doing all sorts of crazy things. My favorite was the picture they needed of the train entering a station as they hung their body over the platform edge to get a great shot. That is just stupid. Your life is worth a picture?
Multi-ton moving equipment is not a toy. What don't they understand?

(2,449 posts)200 tons of locomotive (just the engine - the whole train itself 10s of 1000's of tons) vs. maybe half a pound of carbon fiber?
You can argue he was violating various regulations, but safety of the train never was compromised.

If that dude derailed the train accidentally, he would never live it down. Especially if someone was hurt or killed.
