If their idea is to save money, I can't see how that is working. People use 5 times more.

to the Charmin that they sell. It goes on sale at the rate we seem to use it. It's about two bucks more than the Kirkland one.

It's thinner yes, but also scratchier. So I looked up some info and found out they had some complaints about it not being good for septic systems. In the attempt to make it thinner, they have made it rougher as well. We had some rolls from a previous pack in the guest bath and you can really tell the difference!

I'm sure they, like all businesses find ways to make changes to make more money. In this case, they lost a customer. Switched to Charmin. May actually be paying more, but the product is better.

Also refuse to buy ice cream that comes in a container that looks like a 1/2 gallon, but instead of 2 quarts of ice cream it's really 1.5 quarts. Price is the same or more as when it was full 1/2 gallon. Same thing for pints. 16 ounces in a pint, but many brands are selling 13-15 ounces in what looks like pint containers. Doesn't seem like much, but when you multiply 1-2 ounces over the millions of product they sell, the manufactures are reaping big profits.

So it's what I buy. You can get more than one type of Scott, too. Try another type.
