Since we're on the subject of sports........

(thanks Starry has anyone ever noticed that the SEC (athletic conference, NOT the regulatory agency) has a "socialistic" structure for dividing the billions it takes in from TV contracts, college bowl games, etc.? All of the conference institutions get an equal share of the general revenue, with a small bonus for the teams that win championships. IOW, a socialistic system, most of which would pay a little extra to workers with more skills and who added more to the general accumulation.

I just think it's HILARIOUS that this area of the country, which rails the MOST against "socialism" for the people, has as one of it's main points of pride a private institution that divides revenue socialistically.

There might be an article there. I'm going to bring it up at least.
