Is there a way to sell things and not leave your house?

Is there a way to sell things without having to leave your house?

I could do it via ebay.com if I have to.

I want to sell a bunch of items I have around here that are worth a few bucks and I could use the money, mostly books, CDs, and the like.

How do I do this during this pandemic we are in without having to go out?

Any ideas at all?

Thank you for your help.

It's online, a neighborhood kind of thing. At the bottom of the page of notices (and at the side columns) there are things for free or for sale and you can get people to come to your house to pick them up.

You can order free boxes and padded mailers from usps.com and have them delivered to your house. If you sell on ebay or other venues online, you can print shipping labels at a discount and schedule a free package pickup by your mail carrier. All of this without leaving your house.

I live 300 feet from my post office in my little town so I had to go there.

I think there are many companies which will ship what you buy from them to anyone you want. You create a web site and take orders for say $20 then pay the drop shipper $15. They send it to your customer.

on Marketplace at good prices. I also buy from them. Recycling is good and the prices are good too. Just arrange no-contact pick up. I meet them at the door, make sure they have a mask. If they want the item they give me the money and take it away. Some sellers just leave the item on the porch and I leave the money in an envelope inside the door. I always spritz the cash with my sanitizer. Works well.

There are ways to find out the likely value of an item. Check eBay for a similar one in the Auction Completed section, to see what it sold for (or didn't sell)

abebooks.com is a good place to check value of books.

Signed by the author - three are signed by Ken Kesey and also a rare Mark Twain book abt. cats.

Also an odd one called "The Ishams in England and America", etc.

And some very old S.F. directories, a few pre-quake 1906.

and a few others as well.

If you sell books on Powells you put the book info and if they want the books, they let you print a shipping label for free. I forget what shipping service they use.

MarketPlace on Facebook works well too. You might be able to find an eBay seller that will sell for you for a fee. There are also local consignment auction, both live and online. Yard sales and garage sales too.
Price sells. Put top dollar on an item and you may not sell it for a long time.
