2. well, i guess i have failed.

i grew up in the same house as this woman. she was amazing.
i grew up hearing stories about her. it shaped who i am. i learned- artist is a job. a job a woman can do. she can take the train downtown daily and still be a mom. she can own an art school, even.
and bitches get shit done.
she's mostly forgotten cuz she was an absolutely epic bitch. and part of what she bitched about was the new york abstract painters. thought they were infantile and untrained. not worth looking at. lol.
