I use Postimages, https://postimages.org/ Postimages assigns a link to the uploaded photo of your piece, which you can add to your DU post.

I use Imgur (which is free) you save photos then you copy paste a link from their website. Took me some trial an error as there are like 4 different options for copying a link, if I remember correctly you want the one that ends in jpeg. You can preview your post before you submit it on DU to make sure it works.

I’ve also sprung for$10 a month on daily paint works to create an artist page with all my work that is easy to share and try and sell your paintings . There is also a free version but I don’t remember the differences between that and the monthly fee option.
