Took a chance with watercolor this time -

it's from an old photo of a Lake Superior shore. I was going to use the watercolor as a draft for a larger oil, but maybe I'll just go with this. Anyhow, oil paint is expensive and I'd need a lot of it.

It was a long time ago but I kept the photo - enlarged from a 35mm slide.

Just as it is! Maybe print out a copy to paint over with oils, and make the print a bit smaller?
