The NC Museum of Art mounted a very large exhibition of his works. It was fascinating and overwhelming. Some of the pieces seemed to go on forever!

A concurrent exhibition featured the Codex Leicester.

In the late 70’s, early 80’s, I met a guy with an Escher t shirt on..the open palm with a globe sitting on it..I was fascinated by it and we struck up a conversation as he was interested in the artist’s work. We got married a few years after that so when I saw the globe in this video, it brought back sweet memories.
