I love the ripples in those leaves. You make it look easy, but I know it isn't.

The natural ruffle-like grace of the leaves was the challenge. I usually look for something challenging. If it’s too easy I lose interest. Although I wish it weren’t so. That’s why I draw so many portraits. They’re always a challenge!
